Notification to rate app annoyingly prevents sound

Use it daily, but theres one thing that really annoy me. Sometimes I get notification to rate app and because of it periods end sound doesnt play. It plays only after I close notification. Sometimes I miss end of period because of that. Anyway its pretty disturbing distraction for an app with Focus in its name. But congratulations to you: it worked — I finally came here to rate an app.

Launch at startup doesn’t work in this version

Launch at start up doesn’t work in this version (pro) and I use not pro version.((( sorry, my english is not well Im from Russia Не работает автозагрузка на про версии. В обычной версии все путем. Её и пользую, т.к. не сильно важна синхронизациия между ios и macos. Сори за английский, написал как смог

Good, but could use a little more automatization

I would like to see - automatic progression of work and pause times, instead of the annoying pop-up notifications - integration with iCalendar or G Calendar - integration with todoist - allowing more work and pause time selection - a more dynamic updating of the app (same version since April 2015?) Apart from this, good overall, unobtrusive and simple to use.

Good, not perfect

The good: -syncs across Mac and iOS devices! -simple, intuitive interface The bad: -cannot have multiple profiles. For example, if I feel like doing 45 min pomodoros instead of 25 min, I have to reconfigure the entire app. There should be customizable profiles so I can preset 25min/45min/60min pomodoros without having to reconfigure the entire thing. -autostart doesn’t work Comments: - why was the name of the app changed? Wish it was still called Pomodoro. Trademark issues?

Very useful App..one minor problem

This app really helps me concentrate and accomplish tasks. One issue I have with the new version is that it will no longer load on startup even though I have that option checked.. I am running Yosemite.

PERFECT FOR TEAM SYNCED POMODOROS!

This is the best solution if you’re working with someone and want to be on the same pomodoro as them - use the same login and you’ll easily sync between phones and computers.

Good app, use it all the time.

Functions as advertised. Tried similar apps, this is the best. No complaints.

Excellent Study Tool

Does what it says it does . . . helps keep you focused to study the material you need to study. The 25 minute time periods allow you to tackle even the most boring material. I like having the app on my Mac and my phone. It allows me to take my phone with me to time my breaks, and then get back to the computer when my break is over.

Useful, not great.

Useful app, but would be much better if you could create settings for different types of tasks. Currently, all settings are global, so you can’t have a setting for say, paperwork and another setting for music practice, etc. Not sure why they allow you to name tasks in a list if there’s no option to customize them. “cheeseburger, cheeseburger”…. What’s the point? Would also be helpful to have a bigger clock projected somewhere on the desktop in a separate window, instead of the tiny font in the menu bar or nothing at all. The large clock window goes away when you switch to work, but if you want to sit and watch it count down, I guess it’s okay. I’m really only writing this because I’m tired of the constant nagging for a review. I paid and would like the option to write a review if I feel like it. Instead, it feels punitive, like free software that includes ads. This seems to be a trend lately with purchased apps, which is irritating. Make it too irritating and you may get an honest review like this. It’s okay, moderately helpful, but I get more out of a visible stopwatch window on my desktop.

Exactly what it should be

Bought the pro version so that my timers would be on all my devices and haven’t regretted the descision. Works just like I want it too. I have and would recommend to a friend. The worst thing about the app is the frequent request to rate the app. Other than that, it’s a great app.

Good UI and love the sync across devices

Great Pomodoro implementation! Nice, slick UI (all in the menu bar), no bugs so far, and sync across devices is very impressive. Exactly what I was looking for. Feature request: if you’re wearing an Apple Watch, it should notify you on there rather than the Mac.

Helpful

It helps remind you to take a break sometimes and keeps you from getting burnt out from studying or whatever your task at hand may be. Bought it to link it with the phone app, which is nice since I have the large clock on my phone off to the side though I control the time settings on my laptop. Is a bit annoying to be asked to write a review often, despite paying for it (only because it was on sale.) Would recommend it, but keep the free trial unless there is a sale or you truly find it helpful.

Pomodoro makes it so I get more done and have peace of mind

Pomodoro pro is a complete life changer. Grateful it exists. It’s the best way to stay on task and truly be efficient with my time.

Solid app

My favorite Pomodoro timer. One thing that i wish I could do: - some how manually start a “break time” just in case i accidentally skipped it.

Good but Apple Watch is slow to update

Love the features and my only complaint is that the Apple Watch sync is slow at times.

Good but you need to follow the technique

This is a great tool if you are already using the Pomodoro technique.

Great app

Way more productive with this app. Take one day this year just learning how to be more production and plan ahead. It’s changed the way I work for the better.

Great “fix” for attention deficits

This app has helped me tremendously to be successful in COMPLETING tedious writing tasks even though I have significant attention deficits. I have struggled for decades with focus problems, but, with this app, I have made a huge step in successfully coping with AD/HD.

What a pleasant surprise!

I’ve known about the Eisenhauer quadrant for a long time, and I’ve been using Be Focused’s concomitant Pomodoro app for a while, and then I stumble across this thing! Fully integrated with my Pomodoro as well. And simple, simple, simple. Don’t add thousands of features. It’s like a breath of fresh air. I unceremoniously dumped both ToDoist and Wunderlist (both excellent ToDos in their own right). Highly recommended. WISH LIST: (1) Drag email messages and files onto the quadrants. If it’s a big file, just store the filename/hyperlink & give the user a text box to add ToDo info. I found I needed that. (2) The name could be more memorable - I struggle with getting back to the app itself, even while I’m using it.

Very useful

I’ve just recently started using this method and this app (mac and iOS) is the best of the three I’ve purchased. Since I am mostly using this while coding the Mac version gets the most use of the two (or three if you want to count the watch separate). It would be nice for it to share its state between the phone and Mac. Other than that I really like it and use it every day.
